We love innovation when it comes to alternate sources of energy. A logical place in the home to obtain solar power is from your windows. We’ve posted in the past about curtains designed to generate power from the sun, but now a Tokyo-based company has designed and is marketing a window that is capable of generating solar energy. This is an incredible idea, unfortunately it is only available today to the super-rich as these windows will set you back $1900 per square meter. Hopefully enough people get behind this innovation to bring the price down to a reasonable level for the average consumer.
