There is an informative article posted over at howtocleanstuff.net that runs down techniques for cleaning various types of window treatments in your home. Our favorite tip: use the vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean your wood blinds. They also mention wiping your blinds down with fabric softener sheets to prevent dust build up. As we’ve discussed in the past, fabric softener sheets are great for many reasons, especially preventing blind slats from sticking to one another. Have any creative cleaning techniques of your own?
