Best Custom Window Treatment Brands

The majority of custom window treatment retailers offer some subset of a large and often confusing body of products. Common national brands offered are: Bali, Graber, Hunter Douglas, Kirsch, and Timber. To begin, the aforementioned brands offer excellent, high-qualty products. At this point you may be asking yourself the following questions. Is worth it to pay the premium for higher-end brands such as Hunter Douglas? How do you know which of the above brands to choose? Fortunately, the answer is fairly straightforward. Most of the warranties provided by these companies are very similar and none of them are fly-by-night operations, so you can be reasonably sure they will be around to back up their products if you have problems down the road. If you are on a tight budget, odds are you’ll want to stay away from Hunter Douglas (a very nice product, with unmatched selection in wood tones, but usually the most expensive). What’s left? Ultimately it boils down to color selection. Get samples from a few vendors and select the one that provides the best match. If, for example, you’re looking for a particular white and you’ve found that a few brands provide a color that suits your needs, select the lowest price one. This assumes you’re selecting a reputable, national brand, preferably one that is listed at the beginning of this article. So what about store brand window treatments?
